Recently “The Hookup” did a Home Assistant Roomba retrofit video using ESP-01. I found the video interesting, even though I don’t have a roomba. Perhaps you could kick it up a notch and add a sensor/build a kit for avoiding… certain unpleasant side effects of robotic vacuums.
