RGB Color Mapping Issue

I have built and flashed the LED color strip with firmware v1. After configuring in openhab, I’ve realized none of the color changing rules seem to work correctly.
Using the color picker, i can see the activity in MQTT, and the lights react but they do not turn the correct colors.
For instance, 0;0;0 should turn the LEDs off, but instead defaults to “green”
turning the lights “on” in openhab sends MQTT signal 53;100;22; and lights default to light blue. And color picker does not work correctly either. The LED strip provided has a black, red, green and blue wire. I have “black” connected to “white” since that was the only option. Please advise.
